New Nightstick® Low-Profile Headlamp Solves Challenges for Firefighters, First Responders and Construction Crews

Nightstick introduces the category’s thinnest, lowest-profile helmet light for firefighters, first responders and construction workers. The Nightstick NSP-4616B, Dual-LightTM Headlamp (Average retail price starting at $42.95) offers separate spot & flood lighting with available brightness to 450 lumens; a rear-mounted 3-AA battery pack can run the light for up to 10 hours and features a rear-facing crew-finder amber LED for safety.

The Nightstick NSP-4616B Low-Profile Dual-Light™ Headlamp was created to work on fire helmets and hard-hats that also utilize a flip-up face shield. The unique low-profile design allows the user to work without having to remove the headlamp when raising or lowering their face shield and will not get in the way of most helmet badges. Manufactured from glass-filled nylon polymer and featuring a multi-position tilt head, both the independent spotlight and the independent floodlight use CREE® LED’s and an advanced (TIR) Total Internal Reflection lens designed to optimize lumen output and beam pattern. The spotlight and the floodlight are both rated at 250 lumens in high mode and 125 lumens in low mode.

Front mounted dual switches using large textured buttons required by those wearing gloves and provide easy access to the spotlight for distance illumination, the floodlight for close-up illumination, and in Dual-Light mode of 450 lumens for maximum lighting, versatility and safety. The NSP-4616B is IP-X7 rated waterproof and meets the requirement for NFPA-1971-8.6 (2013). Included is a heavy-duty rubber head strap for use on a fire helmet or hard-hat along with 3 AA batteries ready-to-use.

“The Nightstick NSP-4616B has an ultra-thin profile by leveraging dual TIR lenses in lieu of reflectors to capture and pinpoint light” says Russell Hoppe, Marketing Manager for Nightstick. “Whether you need to light up a distance, see up close without an intense blowback of light, or turn both lights on simultaneously in exclusive dual-light mode, the NSP-4616B provides the application specific lighting professionals need to get the job done. Nightstick designs products to be Tough, Durable, AffordableTM.” To learn more, please visit
