With over 425 competitively awarded contracts, Sourcewell provides access to time saving cooperative contracts designed to meet state and local government procurement requirements.
Sourcewell recently partnered with Western Fire Chiefs Association (the founders of the FireRescue GPO) to assimilate the FireRescue GPO brand into the Sourcewell cooperative procurement program. Through this partnership, revenue from the program supports the International Association of Fire Chiefs, all its U.S. Divisions and state fire chiefs associations across the country.

In August of 2021 Sourcewell was recognized by the National Procurement Institute, Inc. for a sixth consecutive year with the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement® award. Sourcewell was also the only organization in Minnesota to receive the award for three consecutive years.
