Rosenbauer is a global leader in firefighting technology and resources. With over 150 years of manufacturing experience, they are the world’s largest manufacturer of fire equipment worldwide. A family-owned business founded in 1866, Rosenbauer has grown through global partnerships which have culminated in building the most innovative and safest firetrucks in the market.
Rosenbauer has 140+ years of continued manufacturing experience with over 2,000 employees worldwide, including 900 in North America. Over 2,000 vehicles are produced worldwide annually, including 700 in North America. These vehicles are sold and serviced by 32 independent dealerships with over 250 sales and service professionals.
One of Rosenbauer’s latest vehicle designs is Revolutionary Technology (RT). The RT is America’s first fully-electric apparatus that boasts an elevated level of safety, excellent driving dynamics and maneuverability, innovative safety features, and is fully networked. These features and more make the RT the most modern emergency vehicle on the market and present an entirely new standard within the fire industry.
An additional design with a focus on firefighter safety is the Clean Cab Concept Truck. This design is a multi-part package made up of the CleanAir Recirculating Air Scrubber, the automatically deployed CleanLocker, the Rapid Deploy Tray, and the Rapid Deploy Light.
Rosenbauer’s focus on firefighter safety is not limited to apparatus but also includes the HEROS Titan Pro, the safest, most advanced, and comfortable firefighting helmet in the industry. The HEROS Titan Pro meets the latest valid NFPA directives (NFPA 1971, 2018 edition and NFPA 1951, 2020 edition). Designed as a full protection helmet, the extensions along the side of the wearer’s head provide additional protection in a critical area. This helmet profile provides increased side impact protection and reduces the chances of entanglement in confined spaces.
Family-owned Rosenbauer America is a 50-50 partnership between North American and European families. With 11 production facilities on four continents, firefighters globally have access to innovative fire apparatus that can be tailored to meet the needs of any fire department.
